5by5 Agency Acquires Heurisay to Expand Growth-Driving Services to Its Change Maker Clients

5by5, part of the 3LS Inc. family of employee-owned companies, announced that it has acquired Heurisay, a Nashville-based PR firm specializing in corporate storytelling, brand awareness and reputation management. The acquisition will expand the agency’s capabilities, providing integrated communications and public relations services to its clients and further amplifying the growth-driving and award-winning marketing and communications work that have become the agency’s hallmark.

“Our clients look to us to help them grow and scale their businesses through marketing and communications strategies,” said 5by5 President, Josh Miller. “As a steward for their brands and a strategic partner to their teams, we are always thinking about ways we can continue to support and evolve with them. This acquisition represents our commitment to momentum and being the best partner we can be to our clients that are driving change in their industries. Together with Kristin and the Heurisay team, we are further expanding our ability to help them stand out for the incredible work they’re doing.”

The agency announced that with the acquisition, Faulder will now spearhead its growing PR division as Vice President of Public Relations. She brings with her a network of senior-level communications strategists and practitioners, as well as relationships with journalists, media and partners that she’s built over the last 20 years. She notes that her “secret weapon” lies in her ability to serve as an antenna–-finding connections between current events and a company’s mission, and crafting relevant stories—and she looks forward to deploying this skill for 5by5‘s changemaker clients.

“The marketing and communications landscape is rapidly evolving as AI revolutionizes and impacts almost every aspect of our work,” said Faulder. “As a result, the need for more agile, innovative and strategic communications is paramount to cut through the noise – and PR will play a pivotal role. Our proven approach to brand awareness, thought leadership, and reputation management is a natural addition to the work 5by5 has been doing for more than a decade. We look forward to harnessing the power of public relations to amplify clients’ stories even further.”

Founded in 2017 by Faulder, Heurisay has served clients across a number of industries–most notably in the complex healthcare and technology industries–driving measurable gains in awareness, strengthening reputations and guiding organizations through moments of transformation and change. Prior to founding Heurisay, Faulder worked in a number of high-profile and award-winning PR agencies, including Schneider Associates (now the Belfort Group), InkHouse and ReviveHealth (now part of BPD). She began her career as a TV reporter, where she learned how to listen and look for the real stories, craft and convey compelling messages succinctly, and connect the dots between macro trends–what’s happening in the world–to more micro environments, such as how one brand fits within them.

As brands seek to expand awareness and engage audiences in meaningful ways, 5by5’s new PR offering delivers a full spectrum of communications services, including media relations, messaging, content, crisis communications, social media and media/spokesperson training, to ensure clients’ stories are seen, heard and remembered.

Faulder continued: “We’re in both an exciting and critical comms moment for organizations. We’ve never had this many channels or opportunities to reach audiences right where they’re at with the messages that matter most to them. Whether leaders are focused on expanding, re-positioning, re-launching or strengthening their brand, the seamless integration of PR into marketing, advertising and digital is critical for maximizing these channels and getting in front of stakeholders. We’re looking forward to bringing that to change makers at 5by5 and driving even more growth for them.”
