Campaign Monitor Unveils Advanced In-App AI Guidance to Streamline and Optimize Email Marketing Workflows

Campaign Monitor announced that it is bringing three new AI-based tools to its suite of services that aim to enable small to mid-sized businesses to make smarter decisions in their email marketing campaigns and achieve faster business improvements. These tools work together to deliver in-platform guidance to Campaign Monitor users on an ongoing basis as they navigate each component of their email marketing campaigns, including analysis, segment building, and content optimization. Already live to its customers is Marketing Monitor, and Segment Mapper and AI Email Booster will be made available to users starting January 28.

You could think of it as a kind of “always-on assistant” that is designed to serve email marketers. The new features of AI are designed to shorten the time it takes to get results and then react accordingly. Finally, there is Marketing Monitor, which seeks to provide some context to the numbers by offering comparisons to benchmarks, as well as guidance on where to improve. Next, there is Segment Mapper, which is designed to provide advanced targeting without requiring any technical expertise, where users can enter simple, everyday language, which is then converted into segments. Finally, there is the AI Email Booster, which is actually integrated into the builder, providing real-time analysis of what a marketer has written and offering one-click, data-driven advice to help improve.

As the inbox heats up and personalization becomes the norm, small-to-medium marketers are squeezed to do more with less. More often than not, teams sit on mountains of data yet struggle to turn insights into concrete actions. Campaign Monitor‘s newest AI features aim to clear that fog, cut down the guessing, turbocharge value delivery, and equip smaller teams with the tools to refine campaigns with real confidence and accuracy.

“AI should make email marketing easier, not more complicated,” said Elizabeth Smalley, Chief Product Officer at Campaign Monitor. “Small and mid-sized businesses are overwhelmed by data and best practices, but they don’t always have the time or resources to act on them. We built these new AI features to provide always-on guidance directly inside the platform, helping marketers better see what’s working to optimize faster, without losing control of their strategy.”

These enhancements showcase the continued effort of Campaign Monitor toward useful, high-impact AI innovation. The company is seeking to give marketers clearer insights, greater control, and tangible performance improvements through tucking smart guidance into everyday workflows. This approach retains the human touch in driving marketing decisions by leveraging AI to augment, not replace, strategic judgment, creativity, and confidence.
