Cordial, a leading messaging platform for enterprise marketing teams, has unveiled two new AI agents designed to take on real marketing execution, not just analysis or recommendations. Cordial Agents now include new features that empower marketers. These tools offer insights, help with decisions, and support live marketing in the Cordial platform.
Rather than offering many specific assistants, Cordial focuses on a few integrated agents. This strategy aims to reduce manual, repetitive tasks that can slow down marketing operations and create risks.
Despite unprecedented access to customer data, many marketing teams still struggle to act on insights in real time. Cordial’s recent research highlights that 100% of marketers continue to depend on traditional behavioral signals such as clicks and opens to infer intent. Nearly two-thirds report that insights are used primarily during campaign planning rather than during live execution. On the customer side, the disconnect is equally apparent—only 34% of consumers feel that brands genuinely understand their needs, and 43% of marketers say customer trust is lost when intent is misunderstood.
As artificial intelligence compresses the time between signal detection and action, this execution gap becomes increasingly visible. The ability to accurately interpret and respond to customer intent in the moment is quickly becoming a defining capability for modern marketing teams.

“Most AI tools stop at suggestions,” said Matt Howland, Chief Product Officer at Cordial. “We built Cordial Agents to do the work itself. They operate inside real marketing systems, with real data, rules, and guardrails, so teams can move from insight to action without adding manual steps, redundancies, or miscues.”
Cordial Agents differ fundamentally from conventional AI assistants that focus on generating ideas or drafts. They function as production systems, designed to ground decisions in real data, enforce governance, execute actions, and coordinate outcomes across the full marketing lifecycle—directly within live workflows.
The Email Production Agent is built to handle execution-intensive email marketing tasks, including personalization, audience logic, message orchestration, and performance measurement. It constructs complete emails using production-grade tools intended for live campaigns rather than lightweight prompts or static templates. Before deployment, outputs are validated against real customer profiles to ensure accuracy at scale and to prevent faulty logic from reaching production environments.
Complementing this capability, the Data Intelligence Agent continuously monitors campaign and audience performance based on the same shared understanding of customer intent. It detects emerging trends, flags issues early enough for intervention, and recommends next steps while campaigns are still in progress—enabling real-time optimization rather than post-campaign analysis.
Both agents operate within Cordial’s governed agent framework, which defines how AI can act within the system. Each agent is equipped with clearly defined tools, automated quality checks, controlled retry mechanisms, and enforceable guardrails aligned with an organization’s brand, data, and campaign standards. Outputs are continuously reviewed and corrected, allowing the agents to improve outcomes without increasing operational risk.
Execution across Cordial Agents is powered by specialized, production-grade tools that work directly inside live workflows. This ensures that everything generated by the agents is immediately executable, measurable, and safe to run at enterprise scale.
The agents are also designed to collaborate. Through shared context and agent-to-agent communication, Cordial Agents coordinate with one another while enabling human teams to contribute briefs, inputs, and artifacts. This collaboration strengthens alignment and improves overall execution quality.
Taken together, these capabilities underscore Cordial’s philosophy on AI in marketing: fewer agents with deeper context, governed execution, and measurable outcomes. Rather than adding another assistant to an already complex workflow, Cordial aims to eliminate manual, fragmented, and redundant work across marketing operations entirely.
