TThe new solution is an intelligent, always-on AI phone agent designed to operate natively within the Crexendo cloud business communications platform in support of voice, video, contact center, and managed IT services for organizations of all sizes.

Designed for the realities of business communication, CAIRO is used as the virtual front desk that welcomes customers, directs their queries, and assists them with all the accuracy of a human. Through the help of conversational AI, speech automation, and internal expertise in the business world, CAIRO goes through customer queries, automated call workflows, and conversational escalation to live agents whenever needed.

CAIRO overcomes the limitations of traditional IVR systems and the complexity often associated with virtual agent deployments. It focuses on ease of use and adaptability, so a business can assign it to any phone number; change its voice and personality to best fit their brand, and train the AI using existing digital assets like websites, FAQs, or uploaded documentation. The CAIRO platform provides a full suite of AI-powered features aimed at improving the handling and management of calls. The features include smart routing, smart appointment scheduling with integrations within Microsoft Outlook 365 and Google Calendar, multi-language functionality, as well as notifications based on pre-defined keywords in real-time. The software also features analytics tools to help track calls, the intentions of the callers, as well as their knowledge gaps.

Other valuable features include intent-based call filtering, rogue caller detection, automated confirmations and reminders via text messaging, and plug-and-play agent templates supporting rapid deployment.
