DMEXCO announces digital marketing & tech event

DMEXCO

Advertising spend is still following the digital trend. TV, audio, and out-of-home aren’t the only media channels being digitalized – brand management is as well. “Digital marketing has truly found its way into the marketing departments and activities of all brands. Digital marketing has reached the boardroom – and so has DMEXCO. And that’s why we’re dedicating a whole day to this target group on the Center Stage for the very first time. I’m positive that the CMO Summit will be one of DMEXCO’s program highlights,” says Verena Gründel, DMEXCO’s Brand and Communications Director and host.

Dirk Freytag, President of the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW): “DMEXCO is Europe’s flagship event by and for the digital economy. The CMO Summit underscores this status. Marketing decision-makers come together at DMEXCO to learn from each other and shape the future.”

The first top speakers to be confirmed at the new DMEXCO CMO summit on September 19 are Jennifer Treiber-Ruckenbrod (CMO, BMW Group Germany AG), Kerstin Köder (Regional CMO, Central and Eastern Europe, SAP SE), Rik Strubel (CMO, Westwing), Nadine Bartenschlager and Catherine Niebuhr (CMOs as part of a job share, NIVEA Germany/Switzerland), and Frank Köhler (CMO, Enpal). The CMO Summit’s international media partner will be the renowned U.S. industry magazine DIGIDAY. Its Editor-in-Chief James Cooper will be one of the summit’s hosts.
