Kaltura to Launch AI Media Publishing Agent at IBC 2025

Kaltura, the AI Video Experience Cloud, announced it will unveil its new Media Publishing Agent at IBC 2025. The latest addition to the company’s Entertainment and Monetization portfolio, the Media Publishing Agent is designed to transform content operations by delivering hyper-personalized, compliant, and revenue-optimized experiences at scale. By fully automating publishing workflows, the solution accelerates time-to-market, reduces operational overhead, and ensures consistency across live, VOD, and FAST services.

The Media Publishing Agent enables administrators to establish precise publishing workflows and rules-from defining content types and compliance checklists to enrichment steps and localization. Once configured, the agent autonomously manages the process end-to-end, handling tasks such as captioning, automated summaries, clipping, chaptering, metadata enrichment, and accessibility checks. Teams maintain visibility and control through real-time dashboards that allow for monitoring and fine-tuning.

“The Kaltura Media Publishing Agent is the most recent step towards our mission of task-oriented, autonomous agents that can execute across multiple use cases to drive efficiency and create better business outcomes,” said Eynav (Navi) Azaria, Chief Product & Engineering Officer, Kaltura. “Working hand in hand with dozens of our customers, we have an insider view on what media companies are striving for, and our new agent, the first of several that Kaltura will be adding, is poised to become critical in empowering them to use AI to future-proof their business.”

Kaltura will also showcase its broader AI-powered innovation suite at IBC 2025. This includes TV Genie—winner of NAB’s Streaming Product of the Year-which delivers hyper-personalized recommendations to boost audience engagement. In addition, Kaltura will launch its Cloud TV Marketplace, giving media, streaming, and telecom operators greater flexibility to explore, select, and activate integrations, AI-driven features, and third-party components tailored to their evolving business needs.
