Pictory Launches the World's First AI Video MCP Server

Pictory, a leading innovator in AI-driven video creation, has announced the launch of the Pictory MCP Server-a lightweight, developer-friendly integration layer designed to seamlessly power intelligent video workflows for AI assistants automation platforms, and enterprise applications.

This new offering introduces a powerful way to streamline and scale video generation using natural language commands. By fully aligning with the Model Context Protocol (MCP)-a new standard emerging across AI ecosystems-the Pictory MCP Server enables tools like Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other automation clients to easily discover and execute video creation tasks without requiring complex coding or deep technical integration.

“With the rise of AI assistants and agent-driven automation, we saw an opportunity to simplify access to our video creation API,” said Vikram Chalana, CEO at Pictory. “The MCP Server eliminates the need for custom code and deeply technical integrations. Now, anyone can create professional, branded videos just by describing what they want.”

Natural Language-Driven Video Workflows

The MCP Server introduces modular video tools-such as create-storyboard and render-video—that handle input validation, task sequencing, and backend orchestration invisibly. Users can issue high-level instructions like “create a personalized video campaign for Midwest healthcare customers,” and the system intelligently performs all the steps: pulling CRM data from platforms like HubSpot, selecting a template, generating a storyboard, applying voiceovers and brand elements, and rendering the final video—all without manual configuration.

This intuitive, language-based interface unlocks enterprise-scale efficiency for sales enablement, marketing automation, and customer engagement.
