Vodafone and Kaltura form Partnership to Expand Cloud TV Services

Vodafone Group PLC and Kaltura, the AI Video Experience Cloud, announced the extension of their long-standing partnership centered around the Vodafone TV (VTV) solution, powered by Kaltura.

Since its launch in 2014, Vodafone TV has rapidly grown into a leading cloud-based video service, delivering high-quality, reliable viewing experiences to millions of subscribers across eight markets. The platform has played a pivotal role in Vodafone’s transformation from a provider of traditional, on-premises IPTV services to a modern, cloud-native, over-the-top (OTT) offering.

This extended partnership reflects the shared commitment of both companies to continuous innovation and user-centric evolution. Kaltura’s robust and scalable technology has enabled Vodafone to accelerate the rollout of its Cloud TV services while maintaining operational excellence and delivering cutting-edge entertainment experiences.

As part of the renewed collaboration, Vodafone and Kaltura will enhance the existing platform with new features and expanded functionalities. The two companies also plan to broaden the service to additional subscribers and potentially roll it out to new markets. A key focus will be the introduction of Kaltura’s AI-driven video capabilities designed to elevate user engagement, interactivity, and personalization-while also unlocking new monetization opportunities and driving operational efficiencies.
