Wi-Charge, a global leader in wireless power innovation, has announced a strategic partnership with Dolphin Digital, a trailblazer in the Retail Media Network (RMN) and digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising solutions. This collaboration fuses Wi-Charge’s cutting-edge wireless power technology with Dolphin Digital’s next-generation retail displays, resulting in a groundbreaking, fully wireless DOOH solution designed for modern retail environments.
By incorporating Wi-Charge’s long-range wireless power system into Dolphin Digital‘s displays, this partnership overcomes traditional installation challenges, eliminating the need for power cords or battery changes. Now, Dolphin Digital’s displays can be effortlessly placed in high-traffic retail spaces and key product categories, such as on glass cooler doors or alongside store shelves, placing impactful video ads directly where purchase decisions are made. These displays can deliver content wirelessly while also utilizing sensors to track and analyze consumer behavior.
The wirelessly powered displays, integrated with Wi-Charge technology, will be rolled out across 4,000 stores spanning 90 Designated Market Areas (DMAs) in the U.S. These DMAs encompass major metropolitan centers, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Silicon Valley, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Miami, and Dallas.

Dolphin Digital plans to implement Wi-Charge’s technology in its displays over the next 30 months, starting with a deployment in Affordable Buying Group’s (ABG) network of 900 convenience stores. This effort will facilitate localized promotions for major beverage brands like Pepsi and Dr. Pepper, delivering a continuous flow of dynamic, targeted ads right at the point of purchase—boosting consumer engagement and sales.
