Alphabet-backed Google declared on Thursday it was extending its AI-powered summaries for search inquiries to six new countries, just two months after it rolled back a few capabilities after a problem-riddled launch.

The search engine made AI Overviews that are shown atop a search results page before traditional links to the Web – accessible to all U.S. users in May after finishing one year of trialing a restricted earlier version. AI Overviews will now be expanded to Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, India, and Britain, in local languages including Portuguese and Hindi.
