Messagepoint Acquires Sefas to Strengthen AI-Driven Customer Communications Platform

Messagepoint, which specializes in providing customer communications management technology, has announced that it is acquiring Sefas, which specializes in providing enterprise-level communications processing and document composition software solutions, in a bid to expand its AI-powered platform for managing customer communications in highly regulated industries across various channels of engagement. The acquisition comes at a time when Messagepoint and Sefas had been in a long-standing OEM relationship since 2021, during which Messagepoint had been integrating Sefas solutions into its own products such as Messagepoint Composer and Messagepoint ECP. Messagepoint seeks to benefit from acquiring Sefas by accelerating innovation in its products to provide a more holistic platform for managing the entire lifecycle of customer communications, from intelligent content management to document composition and orchestration, and finally to digital delivery.
