Telnyx Launches LiveKit Hosting Platform for Faster, Lower-Cost Voice AI

Telnyx

Telnyx has launched LiveKit on Telnyx, a fully hosted platform designed to simplify and scale deployment of voice AI agents with improved cost efficiency, performance, and reliability. The solution allows developers to deploy existing LiveKit agents without code changes, using Docker-based packaging and API-driven deployment, eliminating the need for server provisioning or third-party integrations. By owning the full infrastructure stack—including carrier networks, GPU clusters, and telephony-Telnyx delivers up to 50% lower speech-to-text and text-to-speech costs, along with ultra-low latency through colocated inference, achieving sub-200ms response times.

“Voice AI is moving from prototype to production,” said David Casem, CEO and co-founder of Telnyx. “That transition demands infrastructure built for enterprise reliability and compliance. LiveKit on Telnyx gives developers the framework they know with the carrier-grade foundation that enterprise production deployments require.” The platform also integrates native carrier-grade telephony features such as SIP capabilities, call recording, and compliance tools, ensuring enterprise readiness. This launch underscores a shift toward vertically integrated AI infrastructure to support production-scale voice applications.
