Twitter has announced a new and improved Twitter Pixel for website visitor tracking, an updated Conversion API, and a new App Purchase Optimization process to help improve your Twitter ads campaigns.

In addition to tracking more actions, such as when a customer adds an item to their shopping cart, the updated Twitter pixel will also make the pixel integration and activation process simpler for advertisers. Meanwhile, advertisers will be able to feed conversion data back to their Twitter accounts using Twitter’s new Conversion API without the use of third-party cookies.

With more privacy-friendly tracking solutions to maintain and perhaps even improve performance, the new API is the first significant step in Twitter’s larger effort to build for the cookie-less future.
