CobbleStone Software, a well, known provider of contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions and contract, centric artificial intelligence, has revealed significant enhancements to their VISDOM AI platform along with collaborative document workflows. This most recent update aims to offer increased processing speeds, a smoother user experience, and enhanced governance features for legal, procurement, and compliance teams working in various industries.
One of the major highlights of the update is the VISDOM preloading, a performance, oriented feature that permits users to drag and drop documents into the system and simultaneously VISDOM automatically processes them in the background. During this process, files undergo optical character recognition (OCR) and AI-powered analysis without interrupting users’ ongoing tasks. Once processing is complete, the system notifies users, enabling quicker VISDOM Add-In load times and reducing delays often associated with reviewing large or complex agreements.

To strengthen collaboration within the platform, CobbleStone has also embedded VISDOM tools directly into its online collaborative document editor. This integration introduces a document-aware chatbot capable of automatically summarizing contract content and recommending relevant prompts. Users can also access clause search capabilities, a clause library and automated document alerts—all within the editing interface. By providing AI assistance during the review and redlining stages, the enhancement helps contract teams accelerate negotiations without switching between applications.
Another update introduces a configurable field-processing limit for VISDOM Basic, designed to maintain optimal system performance. This setting allows organizations to adjust field-processing thresholds based on their specific metadata requirements and operational needs.
