Webflow has announced that it has acquired a startup that specializes in artificial intelligence-based content generation technology, known as Vidoso.ai. The company has stated that the acquisition is part of its vision for creating a web marketing platform that is agentic in nature. Vidoso was founded in 2024 and utilizes large language models for generating a wide range of marketing assets that include images, presentations, video clips, blog posts, and social media posts. Moreover, the company ensures that the output is always aligned with a company’s brand guidelines. This acquisition has come about due to the fact that there has always been a challenge in marketing that involves the generation of content by artificial intelligence-based marketing tools. This has always resulted in a disconnect between the brand’s voice and the templates that are used for marketing.

Through the integration of Vidoso’s technology into their platform, Webflow aims to enable marketers to leverage artificial intelligence for their creative workflows while ensuring brand consistency. The acquisition is part of a larger vision for Webflow to move beyond the status quo of a website builder to a full-fledged marketing operating system that enables marketers to leverage brand management, demand generation, and content production within a single platform.
