Pegasystems, the Enterprise Transformation Company™, announced a five-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help enterprises accelerate digital transformation through advanced generative AI technologies. This expanded partnership will bring together Pega’s powerful workflow automation and decisioning solutions with AWS’s cutting-edge AI capabilities, including Amazon Bedrock and AWS Transform, to modernize legacy systems and enable agentic automation at scale.
This collaboration will empower organizations to fast-track legacy modernization initiatives using Pega Blueprint™ and AWS’s robust generative AI services—helping eliminate costly technical debt while transforming enterprise workflows with intelligent, scalable automation.
According to recent research conducted by Pega in partnership with Savanta, technical debt continues to be a critical roadblock for enterprises. The study revealed that 68% of IT decision-makers across global organizations believe outdated legacy systems hinder their ability to adopt transformative technologies like artificial intelligence and automation-ultimately slowing down innovation and customer experience delivery.
Through this new agreement, Pega and AWS will jointly harness AWS Transform-a tool that leverages agentic AI workflows to streamline the entire modernization lifecycle-alongside Pega Blueprint, Pega’s AI-driven, cloud-based solution that accelerates the design and deployment of workflow applications. This powerful combination helps clients modernize their operations without disrupting existing business processes, enabling them to transition more quickly to agile, cloud-native environments and unlock the full value of predictive AI and automation.

In addition, Pega will integrate Amazon Bedrock as the core generative AI engine behind both Pega Blueprint and Pega Platform™, the company’s flagship AI-powered decisioning and workflow automation suite. With Amazon Bedrock, clients gain secure access to a broad range of foundational large language models (LLMs) from leading providers such as Anthropic, Amazon, Cohere, and Meta—enhanced with enterprise-grade security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
“By combining the strength of our RCM and healthcare expertise with Microsoft’s advanced large language models, we are unlocking new efficiencies, previously considered by the market as too complex to automate,” said Anurag Mehta, CEO and Co-Founder, Omega Healthcare. “We are bringing scalable, tech-enabled services without requiring healthcare leaders to take on large, risky technology investments, freeing them up to focus on what matters most – delivering exceptional patient care.”
“Omega Healthcare is one of the most innovative partners we’ve worked with in applying Microsoft Azure AI Foundry capabilities – including Azure OpenAI in Foundry Models – to revenue cycle management and other real-world healthcare challenges,” said Elena Bonfiglioli, General Manager, Worldwide Healthcare at Microsoft. “Their ability to translate AI innovation into practical, high-impact solutions across the entire revenue cycle and beyond, has positioned them as a clear leader in tech-enabled RCM transformation.
