Thryv, Inc., the leading do-it-all small business software platform, announced Rees Johnson has joined the company as chief product officer. Johnson is responsible for the vision, strategy, and development of the Thryv platform, which offers inter-operable centers that help small businesses automate and modernize a range of day-to-day functions. He reports directly to Thryv President Grant Freeman.

Johnson brings 20+ years of product leadership to his role at Thryv. Most recently he served as chief product officer for computer security software company Forcepoint. Prior to that, he was SVP of Product Management for Symantec’s enterprise division. At both companies he was charged with the migration of products and customers to support a full SaaS business model. He has also held senior leadership roles at Intel and McAfee Labs. Johnson received an MBA, Finance, Information Systems and Strategic Management from The Wharton School and a BS in Finance from the University of Utah.
