TikTok has announced that it is now accepting applications for the third round of its ‘Support Black Businesses‘ accelerator program, which aims to help Black-owned businesses thrive on the platform by providing them with exclusive access to support resources, education, and networking opportunities.
Black Business Month is observed in August. According to TikTok, the programme was first introduced in 2020 and consists of a number of online resources and support tools that can point business owners in the right direction. Using the hashtag #BlackOwnedBusiness, TikTok promises to celebrate and highlight Black-owned businesses throughout the month of August.
According to the company, “Selected participants will receive exclusive access to business resources and benefits and join a community of like-minded founders during the four-week virtual training.”
