BigPanda, a leader in Agentic IT Operations, has announced the acquisition of Velocity, an AI-powered Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) company specializing in incident response automation. The acquisition enhances BigPanda’s leadership in agentic AI, advancing its mission to bring reasoning-based automation to IT operations – a market where enterprises spend over $250 billion annually on manual, human-driven processes. BigPanda’s platform already automates Level 1 (L1) operations, augments SRE teams, and predicts incidents before they impact customers. Velocity’s technology and talent will strengthen BigPanda’s AI Detection and Response capabilities, enabling organizations to reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR), lower costs, and improve IT resilience.
