Pipedrive recently bought Outfunnel, one of the top apps available on the Pipedrive Marketplace, for the development of the CRM platform. They plan on including a sales and marketing automation as native features of the CRM to offer the users full-fledged sales & marketing functions under one platform. The purchase of the company has also enabled Pipedrive to adopt the technology developed by Outfunnel. On top of that, customer data synchronization between the Pipedrive CRM and marketing platforms like Mailchimp and Klaviyo would still be available without extra effort. That means small and medium businesses have one place to refer to for seeing all customer-related activities. Real-time customer contact with the sales team through CRM software has always been Pipedrive’s focus, and now by introducing customer data synchronizing right within CRM Pipedrive will make it easy for its users.

This way, Pipedrive wants to cut down the amount of work that goes into tech stuff, help out sales and marketing departments so that each side can focus on their strengths instead of fighting over. “A CRM that doesn’t connect with your marketing tools is only solving half the problem. Outfunnel had already solved the hardest part: keeping sales and marketing data synchronized in real time. But it remained a separate app that customers had to discover, set up, and manage. For businesses, every additional tool adds complexity. By bringing Outfunnel directly into Pipedrive, we’re removing that burden and making connected sales and marketing a seamless part of the core experience,” said Paulo Cunha, CEO of Pipedrive.
