Tableau Cloud on Hyperforce launches in Indonesia

Salesforce, we understand that the intersection where AI meets data privacy can be complicated. Where data on public cloud platforms might have once been stored anywhere in the world, a growing number of jurisdictions – including the European Union and countries such as Australia, Canada, Brazil, and South Africa – now expect companies to keep customer data private, but available within local borders.

That’s why we’re delighted to announce that Tableau Cloud customers can now access the new Indonesia Pod on Hyperforce an expansion of Salesforce’s dedicated cloud infrastructure cluster. The expansion introduces Data Cloud, Agentforce, Tableau Next, Tableau Cloud and Marketing Cloud Next to Salesforce’s existing architecture in Indonesia, originally launched in 2023. By offering these additional services, Salesforce aims to help Indonesian businesses tap into the country’s US$366 billion AI opportunity

The Indonesia Pod: Purpose-built to protect Indonesian customer data

Using the Indonesia Pod, users can now run Salesforce and its applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud platform hosted in Jakarta. This allows customer data to be stored locally, enabling local businesses to benefit from Hyperforce’s enhanced security, performance and flexibility.

The Hyperforce expanded Indonesia Pod is a fully featured software-based platform that offers a range of capabilities to protect customers’ data as it is collected and analysed by operators, and used to support CRM activities.

“We know that for many customers in Indonesia, especially those in regulated industries, the ability to store data in-region is critical. Hyperforce not only strengthens businesses’ ability to navigate diverse regulatory environments with confidence, it also helps lay the foundation for a trusted, agile and scalable digital ecosystem as organisations start to implement Agentforce across their business.”
