The move comes as the Greenville/Spartanburg region experiences rapid economic and population growth, driven by major employers including BMW, Michelin, Boeing, GE, and Lockheed Martin. “We were pleased to work with McWhorter Media Group again,” said Kevin Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Adams Outdoor Advertising. “Our previous partnership in Virginia built a strong foundation of trust, and we’re proud to expand that relationship into Upstate South Carolina.” “This acquisition strengthens our presence in one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing regions.” McWhorter Media CEO Josh McWhorter described the assets as “quality” holdings and said the company is optimistic about its future direction following the sale.
