Infobip has bought SocketLabs to help itself build on its email infrastructure for businesses and increase its expertise in delivering, observing, and routing emails. With the purchase, Infobip will leverage nearly 20 years of experience of SocketLabs in handling large volumes of emails using multiple email service providers, allowing businesses and independent software vendors to observe and manage their email activities through a single platform despite multiple email providers involved. Through SocketLabs, Infobip will be able to add AI-first cloud communications platform with analytics, vendor-independent visibility, and routing capabilities to its offerings.

This move also works towards Infobip’s AI initiative by enhancing its Email Deliverability Agent in terms of analytics and automation. Moreover, this acquisition increases Infobip’s footprint in North and Latin America via the customer base of SocketLabs. With this deal, Infobip is now placed as a more rounded communications company as it helps companies in managing their omnichannel customer communications including emails in one single platform.
