Digital and omnichannel experience optimization provider Monetate has acquired Simon AI, an agentic platform built on a composable customer data platform (CDP). The acquisition unifies warehouse-native customer data, behavioral intelligence, real-time cross-channel execution, and enterprise artificial intelligence governance into a single, cohesive operating ecosystem.
The combined offering establishes a closed-loop system where marketing communications and digital interactions are continuously calibrated using real-time customer data, contextual signals, and predictive attributes.
Unifying Real-Time Intent with Warehouse-Native Customer Intelligence
Enterprise marketing teams frequently face friction between backend customer data warehouses and front-end execution environments, resulting in fragmented messaging and complex technical integration projects. The combination of Monetate’s experience optimization suite and Simon AI’s composable infrastructure addresses these integration challenges directly.
Monetate provides real-time personalization, experimentation, and delivery tools—including Symphony for automated recommendations, Maestro for testing, Forte for secure delivery, Glasshouse for AI governance, and MONET AI. Simon AI complements these capabilities by contributing a live, warehouse-native customer profile that models identity across online and offline touchpoints. The system features zero-copy integration into cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, and coordinates customer journeys across more than 100 marketing channels.

Through this unified architecture, marketing programs can automatically incorporate real-world variables-such as localized weather patterns, regional event trends, breaking news, inventory shifts, and price adjustments-into live customer journeys.
Key Capabilities of the Combined Enterprise Platform
-
Integrated Cross-Channel Journeys: Connects on-site experience optimization and testing directly into broader omnichannel journeys across owned and paid channels.
-
Zero-Copy Identity Resolution: Unifies online and offline data points into a single customer profile without requiring data duplication or complex extraction pipelines.
-
Real-World Contextual Targeting: Ingests dynamic environmental factors—including inventory movements, pricing changes, local weather, and market trends—to tailor individual interactions.
-
Autonomous AI Discovery: Offers a prompt-based interface for deployment, automatically highlighting funnel drop-offs, underperforming channels, and revenue opportunities.
-
Enterprise AI Observability: Ensures continuous compliance and decision monitoring through Glasshouse observability and Forte’s patented delivery architecture built for HIPAA- and PCI-regulated environments.
“This is the acquisition our industry has been waiting for,” said Maher. “For a decade, brands have been promised a single view of the customer and real-time relevance in every channel, and been handed integration projects instead. Jason and I have spent months architecting something different: two market-leading platforms connected out of the box for managing digital experiences across all surfaces. On day one, a Symphony recommendation can be informed by warehouse-resolved identity, real-time intent, and even the weather outside a customer’s window, and what happens in any channel can shape the next email, the next ad, the next journey. And I could not ask for a better partner than Jason, one of the sharpest founders in this space, as we triple our investment across both platforms and define this category for the next decade.”
“Steve and I have been working on this for months, and the more time we spent together, the more obvious it became that our companies were building two halves of the same platform,” said Davis. “Simon AI unifies customer data where it already lives and orchestrates journeys across more than a hundred channels. Monetate owns the moment of experience, the site, the app, the test, the recommendation. With the combined products, every send and every session is shaped by everything a brand knows about its customer. That is a genuinely groundbreaking solution, and our customers can start using it today.”
Platform Operations and Growth Capital Investment
Steve Maher will serve as Chief Executive Officer across both organizations, while Simon AI Co-Founder and CEO Jason Davis will continue to lead Simon AI as a Monetate company. Both platforms will maintain independent operations while offering out-of-the-box integrations for joint enterprise clients.
The transaction is backed by a substantial growth capital infusion. Monetate plans to significantly expand investment in product development, engineering, and strategic Concierge client services across both platforms to accelerate category innovation.
Strategic Footprint and Customer Traction
Simon AI serves global enterprise accounts across retail, hospitality, financial services, ticketing, and subscription commerce. Platform deployments have generated documented performance gains, including a 70% lift in fan-to-event matching accuracy for a live-entertainment marketplace and up to a 10x acceleration in campaign launch timelines.
Industry recognition for Simon AI includes selection as a Gartner Cool Vendor in Multichannel Marketing, Snowflake’s Powered by Snowflake Partner of the Year, an Elite Snowflake AI Data Cloud Partner, and a top-ranked CDP on G2 with over 140 five-star reviews.
