Bouygues Telecom is deploying Kaltura’s Cloud TV platform with Aurora Networks as lead systems integrator to modernize its legacy IPTV infrastructure and support next-generation television services. The project consolidates video backend functions onto a unified platform and is designed to support OTT and IPTV experiences across set-top boxes, mobile devices and smart TVs. Aurora Networks is providing consulting, system design, project management, integration and custom software development, building on its 18-year relationship with Bouygues Telecom. The Kaltura Cloud TV platform is already live for Bouygues Telecom viewers, while the company plans to extend support to four million set-top boxes. Bouygues Telecom currently serves 5.5 million fixed-network customers and 27.4 million mobile customers.
