Clay completed a $115m Series D round at a valuation of $7.1 billion with Wellington at the helm plus participation of Sequoia StepStone Andreessen Horowitz Meritech DST, CapitalG BoxGroup Boldstart, Bloomberg Beta and Evolution. This fundraising comes at the same time Clay is extending its AI-based go-to-market platform that is currently being used by over 17,000 companies, among them Anthropic Google OpenAI Stripe Workday and Siemens. The company’s platform connects CRM data, product usage figures, marketing efforts engagement metrics, calls, and emails, together with the external events such changes in funding, hiring changes to build an ever-up-to-date picture of a company’s business market and its client base.

Its AI agents can track down potential customers, detect buyer signals and launch targeted marketing campaigns as well as build custom outreach workflows.
