Cvent Recognized as a Leader for Third Year in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Event Marketing Platforms

Cvent

Cvent, an industry-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, announced that it has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Event Marketing and Management Platforms. The Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors based on criteria including Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. In this year’s report, Cvent was positioned highest in Ability to Execute. Cvent has been recognized as a Leader every year since the inaugural Magic Quadrant for this market was published in 2024.

Cvent ranked highest across all Use Cases in the Gartner® Critical Capabilities™ for Event Marketing and Management Platform companion report

In the Gartner companion report, Critical Capabilities for Event Marketing and Management Platforms, vendors were evaluated based on various Use Cases, including Hosted Conferences With Exhibitors, Hosted Conferences/Roadshows and Hosted Field Marketing Events. Cvent ranked highest in all three Use Cases.

In this report, Gartner states, “Based on a combination of interactions with Gartner clients and analyst market observations, the frequency and volume of field marketing events have grown dramatically in the last two years. This has led to a greater need for governance and compliance over global event programs.”

Gartner also states, “Vendors are rapidly advancing AI capabilities within their platforms to support event marketers in the design and development of events, along with creating engaging experiences and providing depth of insight into event performance. AI-driven audience engagement and streamlined operations are advancing rapidly, meeting growing demands for stronger attendee relationships and simpler event marketing.”

Continued investment in AI-powered innovation and marketer-focused platform expansion

Cvent continues to invest in its platform with an AI-forward approach to help marketers and event professionals execute and scale event programs with greater speed, efficiency, and impact. Recent highlights include:

  • CventIQ™ — Cvent’s comprehensive intelligence layer, embedded across the platform to power AI-generated content creation, real-time session insights, personalized attendee experiences, and smarter hospitality and group business-driven workflows.
  • Acquisition of Goldcast — Brings AI-powered video capabilities to the platform, enabling marketers to instantly transform live event content into campaign-ready video clips, summaries, and social assets.
  • Acquisition of ON24 — Adds an enterprise-grade webinar and digital engagement platform to Cvent’s portfolio, giving B2B marketers more ways to turn digital experiences into measurable revenue growth.

Underpinning these investments is Cvent’s commitment to being the most connected event platform in the marketing technology stack. Cvent’s native integrations with leading marketing automation platforms and CRM tools like Salesforce mean that event data flows automatically into the systems marketers use to score leads, measure pipeline impact, and prove event ROI. Rather than managing events as a separate operational effort, Cvent users can run them as a fully integrated, measurable part of their demand generation and event-led growth strategies.

“Event and marketing leaders are under pressure to deliver experiences that are measurable, scalable, and more connected to the broader customer journey,” said David Quattrone, Cvent Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. “We believe that our leadership position on the Gartner Magic Quadrant reflects our continued focus on helping organizations plan, market, and measure events — and our commitment to enabling that through meaningful AI innovation and outsized R&D investment.”
