FreeWheel Launches Video Content Report for Greater CTV Advertising Transparency

FreeWheel

FreeWheel has launched the Video Content Report, an analytics offering under FreeWheel Buyer Cloud that gives advertisers series-level transparency of where their Connected TV (CTV) campaigns were displayed on premium streaming publishers. This report is directly connected to FreeWheel Streaming Hub and it uses viewer- sourced, impression-level delivery data to show where campaigns appear across premium content that’s available on different platforms like A+E Global Media NBCUniversal Paramount, Warner Bros. Discover, Spectrum Reach, FUSE Media, and Xumo. Advertisers can use it to make sure that their content matches the one they want, brand safety is guaranteed, make media investment decisions more effectively without paying more, and the tool also saves them money by not involving the extra cost of a different tool.

Also, this tool saves time because the reporting feature is integrated in the actual media buying steps so it eliminates the need to request a report from each publisher manually. Per a survey of Advertiser Perceptions, over half of CTV advertisers would increase their spending if publishers offered show- or series-level transparency, which shows the demand for deeper visibility is constantly rising.. “CTV buyers need series-level transparency they can trust and use at scale,” said Jon Mansell, Vice President, U.S. Demand for FreeWheel. “What makes Video Content Report unique is the direct connection between Buyer Cloud and Streaming Hub, which enables publisher-permissioned, impression-level delivery insights from multiple premium publishers in one workflow.” The launch reinforces FreeWheel’s commitment to improving transparency, accountability, and efficiency in programmatic CTV advertising.
