Stensul has introduced new capabilities in its September release designed to help large enterprises move toward AI-driven campaign production while keeping marketers in control of strategy, approvals and exceptions. The AI governance platform for enterprise email marketing has expanded its Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, allowing AI agents to handle more campaign tasks within Stensul’s governance framework, including working from briefs, selecting approved templates, adding imagery, generating alt text, applying tracking parameters, creating content for predefined audience segments and previewing emails. The release also enables authorized designers to turn Figma designs into reusable, editable Stensul modules that marketers and AI agents can use within defined governance rules.

In addition, expanded quality assurance automation can identify issues such as missing subject lines and placeholder text earlier in the campaign workflow, reducing rebuild and review cycles. “Our customers are moving toward a new campaign operating model, where AI agents handle production at scale and people focus on strategy, judgment, and exceptions,” said Manlio Carrelli, CEO of Stensul. “Stensul provides the governance layer that enables this shift across the tools enterprises already use so campaign volume and personalization can grow without production effort growing alongside them.” Justin Price, Multichannel Marketing Leader at the Milwaukee Bucks, said the new MCP capabilities allow the team to complete requests more efficiently and spend more time on multichannel creative campaigns.
