Umbraco appoints Mats Persson as new CEO

Umbraco, the leading CMS platform for digital experiences, backed by software growth investor Monterro, is pleased to announce Mats Persson as the new CEO.

Mats Persson brings a wealth of international experience from the software and technology sector and he has had leading roles in companies such as Cavai, Adform, and IBM.

He succeeds  Kim Sneum Madsen, the current CEO of Umbraco, who will remain an active member of the Board of Directors. The transition will happen on September 1st, 2024 where Mats will officially enter the role as acting CEO of Umbraco.
